How the jackpot odds are calculated

C(47,7) = 62,891,499. With uniform unordered selections and independent separate pools where applicable, one exact ticket has probability 1/62,891,499. The exact BigInt count matches the reviewed official jackpot denominator.

Static result: 1 in 62,891,499; official match.

Do supplementary balls multiply jackpot outcomes?

No. The jackpot match is the seven winning numbers, so the denominator is C(47,7)=62,891,499. A multiplication by a supplementary-ball count would model a different ticket. Supplementary numbers matter for some lower prize divisions, whose probabilities require their own model.

The old LottoFlick jackpot denominator was 45,379,620, which did not match its seven-from-47 configuration. The independent count and operator table agree on 62,891,499. The draw-only supplementary count was also corrected from two to three. Those corrections are recorded in the verification report.

The Western Australian operator source supports Tuesday drawings. A current base price was not verified, so the Explorer shows that gap rather than reusing a price from another jurisdiction.

What understanding the odds can and cannot do

For t distinct tickets in the same uniform base draw with N equally likely outcomes, jackpot coverage is t/N when 0 ≤ t ≤ N. Buying duplicate selections does not add new outcomes. Across independent draws, if each ticket event has fixed probability p, the chance of at least one success in t draws is 1−(1−p)^t. This explains probability; it does not recommend more spending.

Balanced selections, birthdays and past draw frequencies do not improve the jackpot chance of a particular valid ticket. LottoFlick does not predict winning numbers. Use the combination calculator to explore models and the Explorer to compare field scopes.
