Lottery Lab: DNA, Simulation and Coverage

Three connected tools for understanding how a lottery's rules produce its odds. They explain and simulate; they do not predict draws.

Lottery DNA

How the selection rules produce the number of possible jackpot combinations.

Step-by-step calculation

    Count versus probability

The count is how many equally likely jackpot outcomes exist. The probability for one exact ticket is 1 divided by that count.

    Model assumptions and limits

Every valid combination is equally likely, numbers are drawn without replacement, and separate pools are independent. Prize tiers, payouts, taxes and later rule changes are not modelled.

      Million Draw Lab

Run simulated draws of the selected game and compare how often each outcome appears with its exact probability. This is a simulation, not a prediction.

Leave blank for a fresh random run. The same seed repeats the same simulated results; it says nothing about real future draws.

No simulation has been run yet.

      Combination Coverage Lab

Paste combinations, one per line, to see which are valid, which are duplicates and how many distinct jackpot outcomes they cover.

Combinations are processed locally in this browser. They are not uploaded, shared or stored.

Enter a price yourself; LottoFlick assumes none. Cost = entries × price and is not an expected return.

      Export report

Download a JSON report of the analyses shown above: rules and sources, exact calculations, and any simulation or coverage results you have run. It is created in your browser and is not uploaded anywhere. It is a mathematical analysis, not a prediction.

A ticket price is included only if you entered one.

How the three results fit together

None of these results predicts a draw or changes the probability of a valid ticket beyond the distinct-combination arithmetic shown.
